In doing, we may stumble, but in authenticity, even our stumbles win the hearts of the true.

The ability to learn and grow is a fundamental part of how I operate. The element that adds power is to self-identify the gap in knowledge and be resourceful enough to eliminate that gap. That's the true power of a growth mindset.

I was thinking about this today actually; itβs very comical how we (as part of human nature) constantly compare ourselves vs others when IN FACT it is only our habits, our actions and activity that matter. Life is a constant competition vs yourself, not vs. others. And news alert: itβs ok to be frustrated with your choices some days. We all fail. Failure breeds success. #leadership #failure #failfast #mindset

We love this sentiment because it's the absolute truth and what our entire workout is based on. We work our clients into momentary muscular failure, not to break them down, but to build them up! When we get to that failure point, our bodies biologically get the signal that they need to become stronger to withstand those pressures. This is how we build muscle and bone density. #strengthtraining #bonedensity #fitness #failure

Failure is NOT the stepping stone to success!I have always had major angst against this statement that failure is the stepping stone to success. Because here is the deal. Everyone in the world fails. But not everyone succeeds. So there is something between failure and success that makes success happen. And to me, that is reflection. Reflecting upon your failure will lead to awareness around what to change, what to keep, what to improvise upon. It is reflection, which is rare, after failure that turns failure into success. Failure + reflection = successWhat do you think?

I disagree with this completely.here's why:There's a big hindsight bias in this statement. Once you succeed, everything seems like a stepping stone leading to it.Doesn't make it true though. In my opinion, failure just teaches you what doesn't work. It's a narrative around a series of mistakes that lead to an outcome that was not desirable.Break the narrative.Learn from the mistake.Try something different to get the desired outcome.Or change the nature of the outcome you desire. Both in my opinion are progress.

Failure can be framed in many ways. As a leader how do you approach your own failures or as I like to call them learning opportunities? How do you approach those of your teams? How can those approaches be better? #failingforward #learningopportunities #mondaymotivation #leadership #reflection
