Time passed quickly and May is already close to the horizon, which means, for a good movie buff, that streaming services are renewing their available programming. At Netflix, the month of April was very satisfactory, with the series Baby Reindeer, by Richard Gadd, and Ripley, starring Andrew Scott (Fleabag), Dakota Fanning (A love lesson) and Johnny Flynn (Emma), gaining prominence in the media and press, in addition to the launch of the series inspired by the famous manga Parasyte: The Gray.

And now, for May on Netflix, 23 original titles arrive at streaming, with emphasis on the return of Jennifer Lopez in protagonism in science fiction Atlas, after the not so approved The mother (2023) Benedict Cumberbatch starring in the psychological thriller miniseries Eric and third season from the series Bridgerton e Orange County for Sale.

Films from Sweden are already a success on Netflix, such as the thrillers “The Abyss”, “Stolen Childhood” and “An Almost Perfect Family”. However, the teen section is certainly the one most remembered by subscribers: the “Young Royals” series won’t let me lie. There are also the similar ones “Tore”, “Forever”, “The Year I Started Vibrating for Me” and “JJ+E”.

Orange County for Sale: Season 3 (03/05/2024)

Starring 2-time Oscar nominee Benedict Cumberbatch, the suspense and investigation miniseries will feature 6 episodes scripted by Abi Morgan OBE, Emmy and BAFTA winner for “River, The Suffragettes” and “The Split”, and directed by Lucy Forbes. Harriet then starts to face a new version of herself, unlocking herself socially, visiting new places and being more vain about herself, something that definitely won't be easy.

“Geek Girk” is a series adapted from a 2013 work of the same name by Holly Smale. The series is expected to contain 10 episodes of around 30 minutes each. Sandra Yi Sencindiver, Emmanuel Imani, Emily Carey, Tim Downie, Jemima Rooper and Sarah Parish are in the cast.

The case happened in 2015, when a platform specializing in extramarital relationships, Ashley Madison, was the victim of a hacker attack that resulted in the exposure of 13GB of its users' data. The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) even carried out an investigation for false advertising, due to consumers believing that their data was safe.

The function of the website and app for Android and iOS generated a lot of controversy until recently, during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is estimated that 4.226 Brazilians were signed up to Ashley Madison, according to a survey by the company itself, of 17 thousand new global users who joined during social isolation.

The Pokémon Series: Horizons – Part 2 (10/05/2024)

The Thundernauts continue their journey in search of the black Rayquaza. Liko and Rain improve their skills with each battle. Since the end of the story between Ash and Pikachu was announced, a new story in the Pokémon world has reached fans, featuring a little girl Liko and her first Pokémon Sprigatito. The first part was released via streaming at the beginning of March, with 12 episodes. Its second part soon arrives as a sequel, with another 12 episodes, resuming Liko's conflict with the Exploradores group, who seek to get the pendant necklace that the girl wears.

The production is signed by Studio Colorido, the studio responsible for “Star Wars: Visions” and the series derived from “Blech” — “Burn the Witch”. Tomotaka Shibayama, whose career spanned Studio Ghibli, handles the anime.
