The plug on the left (AGSF) with the full thread is for the '94 and thereabouts that use a cylinder head with full threads. That plug recommended by the dealer should work in the later model cars (since it has the same heat range) that only have 4 or 5 threads. The seat is still a conventional taper in the same place for both plugs. The non threaded part of the AWSF plug will tear out the cylinder head threads on the full threaded heads like the '94. The AGSF on left has the thin wire electrode that would be similar to the NGK. While good wearing they are not likely to exceed 62,000 miles (100,000 kilometers) when I change those plugs on other cars. I like the AWSF-32PM (shown at right) that seems to have double platinum electrodes with a domed design. That will give good spark and last a long time. I guess the plug in the '07 is probably that AGSF design. I wonder if Mbalce saw the plugs when he had his cylinder head problems? __________________ |
